About Noah
Flutist Noah Cline (he/him) is the Communications Manager for the National Flute Association. Trained in the fields of flute performance and communication, he's taken these two intersecting fields to build a career in the classical music world.
As a flutist, he has performed with the Piedmont Wind Symphony, on the Hattiesburg Arts Council’s recital series, and won prizes in competitions held by the Flute Society of Washington and the South Carolina Flute Society. He is a passionate teacher and maintains a private studio in his home in historic downtown Terre Haute, where he teaches students of all ages.
Prior to joining the staff of the NFA, he worked as Chief of Staff for Chicago Sinfonietta, a mission-driven orchestra. Other experience includes teaching courses in writing and music theory at the University of Southern Mississippi and interning with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and WDAV Classical Public Radio.
He studied flute with John Thorne, Erika Boysen, Shirley Gilpin, and Nancy Schneeloch-Bingham.
